Philosophy of Care:
We are committed to an integrative health process that takes into account the human need
to be part of something greater than ourselves.
Over many years of clinical work, we have learned how lack of community contributes to
and perpetuates illness, by isolating people from support structures that could empower them
by meeting their needs. It doesn’t take a great leap to see that supportive communities can
foster health, enhance well-being and create possibilities for renewal in everyday life.
We use the symptom-based approaches of conventional medicine when it's appropriate, and we recognize that the problems it has bred must be healed for a truly human health care
process to unfold in the future.
